Yup I’d say that this is a safe bet. Uncle Max sure has a way of manipulating the taboid press on behalf of his clients to gain them maximum advantage eh?

I couldn’t agree more. The entire press handling of this matter has been grossly prejudicial to put it mildly.
The plain fact is that the Police were placed in an impossible position.
If they stood back and allowed the ‘protestors’ (and their anarchist mates) to do their thing by criminally damaging buildings; assaulting city workers;…[Read more]

“Witnesses described him as ‘dazed’ and ‘stumbling’ walking along the road before he collapsed.” (the last line of the UTube video clip).
According to one press report, he was a chronic alcoholic and was in fact thoroughly pissed when he had his several confrontations with the Police.
His ‘family’ are up in arms about their ‘loss’ when in fact…[Read more]

I absolutely agree that prices have shifted upwards – but not across the board.
There is a ‘lag’ effect between for example a crop failure and the resultant price increase – sometimes by several months.
Yes rice has gone up and so has pasta & flour – driven by drought / natural ‘disasters etc. They’ll come back down in the long term.

Are you joking Bas – they couldn’t even organise the “team” photograph at the end properly. they’ll never be able to count above 20.
Mind you “G20” sounds really modern and buzzy – “G23” almost sounds too ‘calculated’ – as if some were excluded

Well Day 1 has passed off as expected (and anticipated).
The politicians have all posed in front of the cameras for the usual photo opportunity and gone through the inevitable pre-communique posturings. Tomorrow will simply be an extension of this expensive international ‘gab fest’ with even more posing and posturing for the folks back home.

Apparently you only need to hug one homo each tomorrow Jen-Jen – not all the homos in Brighton., although I must admit you’d be a bit spoilt for choice.
