Apparently Cas, they’ve named the lodger who was connected by way of family to the dead child, but they cannot name its mother or her ‘partner’ (father???) as to do so would reveal the child’s identity and more importantly, the identities of any other children that this useless woman might have brought into the world.

I know Pete, i was as shocked as clearly you are. The problem seems to be that the so-called experts took the mother’s word for things without digging any deeper – God knows why.

All this rubbish about “lessons can and will be learnt” seems pretty pointless when they clearly AREN’T being learnt and an innocent child is dead in consequence.

Yes I also listened to the reports today including some in depth interviews with the legal and medical people involved…. including the Judge that compiled the report into the Victoria Climbie killing that occurred only a few streets away from this poor child.
