Puppies are great … but kittens – I don’t think so. (I keep thinking of ckicken stir-fry when I see kittens).
Pity they’re not Labrador puppies (as on Andrex bog rolls) – I have to admit to getting REALLY soppy when surrounded by Labrador puppies.
16 November, 2008 at 9:52 pm #381129So it seems that you don’t approve of Rachel’s lifestyle then Dawny, eh? She has admitted being a regular (though allegedly reforemd) drug user and living what is referred to in some quarters as a “Bohemian lifestyle”.
Skank or not – I do think that she has a major attitude problem and appears to approach everything with a most unpleasantly aggressive manner.
Even if she is ‘successful’ in the pop music field, she has already earned herself a reputation as being “difficult to work with”. This probably means that most major agents wouldn’t touch her with somebody else’s bargepole.
16 November, 2008 at 9:44 pm #386826This woman is a bit of a serial breeder isn’t she??? Before Baby P was murdered, it would have been really difficult for the social services to take her child / children away from her.
OK, now the whole world knows what she did there would be no chance at all of her being allowed in the same street as a child…. but at the time she was NOT convicted and she lied and lied and lied and denied the entire thing – blaming others.
Hopefully she will get a really long prison sentence and go to HMP Holloway. The female inmates there will be more than able to deal with her.

Sorry to differ, but i think that there’s a good chance of this being possible. Don’t know whether he is actually telling the truth or not, but definately think it can happen.
I want to hear Pb’s view on this, i value his opinions, on most subjects.
Crikey Woo Hoo … not many people do!!!
In line with other posters, i’ve also seen (in the past) TV programmes or documentaries on sleepwalking. As I understand it, sleepwalkers can do pretty much everything they do whilst awake … but in fact they are ‘asleep’. With this in mind, it seems entirely possible that a (male) sleepwalker could have sex with a female.
Secondly, and given that rape is the act of a male having sexual intercourse (i.e. actual penetration) with a female BUT without her consent – it would appear to be entirely possible that a male whilst asleep visited a female and had sex with her WITHOUT her consent – i.e. raped her.
According to the report in the Media: “Jane McKenna, 33, was asleep at home when a friend’s husband, who had been a guest at a barbecue, walked into the bedroom and started having sex with her.” Note the “started having sex with her” bit. In other words the act wasn’t necessarily completed.
From this I would infer that he was already a guest in her house and simply ”sleepwalked’ from one room into another. He started to do what came naturally to him when with a woman and then, when she resisted, he ‘woke up’ and presumably stopped. however, penetration had taken place and therefore she HAD been raped – even though he subsequently stopped.
On the face of it this is entirely possible. HOWEVER, my instinct is that he came up with a mighty convenient defence. Somehow I find myself wondering if he woke up feeling a bit horny, and just thought that he would pop into the next door bedroom and give his friend’s wife a bit of a seeing to – if she was up for it. Unfortunately for him …. she wasn’t !!!
OK so the Court bought the story as (no doubt) there was a ”reasonable doubt” ….. but I wonder.
16 November, 2008 at 3:20 pm #38112316 November, 2008 at 12:00 pm #381121I agree Sarah – Diana did the “poor little me” act again and managed to get away with it. Her singing voice was definitely well below par and as for her bogus American accent ….. ! At least she wore shoes this week (bad luck Sandie Shaw) and didn’t swat too many flies away from her hair.
I’m really sorry that Daniel got sent home, but I guess that even he knew it was inevitable and this week was as good as any to do it. He comes across as a really nice guy without any pretensions and I really hope that his future will be a good one.
I loved Ruth Lorenzo’s singing … so much passion, so much feeling and wow does she have a powerful voice. I predict that she will be in the final. (Hostage to fortune eh?)
Alexandra thoroughly deserved to go through to the next stage as well. She is another one that I predict will be in the final. She has a really nice, warm, friendly personality and a great singing voice as well – the closest thing to a professional singer in an amateur contest you can get.
Hopefully JLS will go out soon – they seem to offer nothing much by way of originality or relevance and appear as typical of a bunch of south London street rappers as many other similar wannabe rappers.
Rachel is an interesting one. She seems to have backtracked from her stance last week and appears to be listening to advice now. How long THAT will last is anybody’s guess as she comes across as being highly volatile with a big big chip on her shoulder. She certainly has a good sultry ‘blues’ singing voice – but her arrogance and temper will sink her.
“Owen” – don’t like him. OK voice, a bit weak and reedy, but he is playing on the little boy “teenage girlie’s dream” too much. Simon is keeping him in so as not to lose face.
I couldn’t believe it when Laura was sent home last week. There simply HAS to be more to it than meets the eye. If there is any justice in this world, she will be offered a ”contract” and promoted as an excellent singer by an eager agent anxious to snap up new talent.

15 November, 2008 at 8:37 am #386953Great !!! So NOW you tell me !!!
15 November, 2008 at 8:36 am #386821It has enraged all decent folk Sarah and I’m sure they all share your views. By way of consolation, the Judge in the case has said that he is considering long prison sentences for all three participants in this dreadful matter. Hopefully he will be allowed to do just that.
