As always, my New Year’s resolution is NOT to make any New Year’s resolutions…… so far I’ve always managed to keep them.
That’s what happens when a Turkey does a Hopalong Cassidy impression too often.
Cook’s tip: When you’re a bit lopsided, bung a sausage (or something of a similar size & shape) up the bum …. the Turkey’s bum that is, not the cook’s !!!
I think that Amy is an excellent role model for all teenage pop-wannabe’s everywhere.
Pity about the teeth though.

Sorry to disappoint Rainy, but I don’t use Facebook. In fact ever since I sued a similar social networking site for breach of contract, on behalf of a client, and took them to the proverbial cleaners, I’ve kept right away from them all.
However, I understand that the ‘drivel’ you mention is pretty typical of the sort of conversations that you get on Facebook etc. Maybe the answer is to give it up altogether and take up brass rubbing instead.
Indeed ‘it’ has started – or if you prefer the truth is beginning to emerge over the top of carefully crafted PR releases calculated to elicit sympathy from the public and “RIP” messages and the like.
It appears the her recent husband (a Mr Simon Monjack) who secretly married her in 2007, did not want an autopsy performed but was overruled by the Los Angeles coroner.Monjack has apparently dismissed rumours about his wife as being spread by “ridiculous people” and that they are “nonsense”.
It seems that Brittany Murphy’s carreer had been on a steep downward trajectory in recent years amidst rumours of drug misuse and eating disorders.Earlier this month she was allegedly fired from her latest film The Caller after producers lost poatience with her “difficult” behaviour.
Police said that a number of ‘prescription’ drugs were found in her house and that a toxicology report will take several weeks…… bet I can guess what it will say huh?
Maybe she can now join the Michael Jackson hall of fame???
Well, whichever ‘coming’ you get to, one thing is for sure. Shouting out “Oh Universal Supreme Being …. I’m coming” just doesn’t have the same ring to it eh?
Oh and BTW – how do dumb people sign it???
Pete, it appears that the majority of the public would agree with your ‘summary execution’ view. However, along come the ‘do-gooders’ who mention apparently wrong executions (like Derek Bentley etc) and the whole this ends up in an exercise in mass navel gazing – and nothing happens and nothing changes.
Legal retribution seems to be too hard for lots of well meaning people to cope with – more’s the pity, but there it is and we have to get on with it.
