Absolutely!True, they didn’t explicitly state that UFOs didn’t exist – they actually avoided that whole area of speculation – but it seems to me that having only one Officer tasked with UFO investigations is hardly a ringing endorsement is it?
When that Officer is permanently assigned elsewhere and not replaced I reckon that this sends a message – “We’re not going to be spending any more of the taxpayers money investigating utter rubbish”.

I’ve never ever met or even heard of a woman that “smiles when they want to scream” – indeed quite the opposite.
As for “They don’t take ‘no’ for an answer” – how true (especially when they want some clothes/shoes/ expensive presents etc etc etc etc etc etc – the list goes on).

Going back to Gary “hacky” McKinnon …. the ‘discovery’ of Asperger’s Syndrome is relatively recent and many think that it was simply a ruse on the part of his defenders to try to find grounds for avoiding him being extradited to the US to face charges for what he (allegedly) did.
Equally, the most recent reason raised is that he is said to be suicidal and “will definitely” commit suicide if he is extradited. It seems that his legal team (paid no doubt by yourselves through the legal aid fund) are leaving no stone unturned in their attempts to persuade the powers that be to prevent hacky Gary from being tried for his alleged crimes.
Yers it is true that there are numerous cases where ‘hackers’ have been offered a job by the hacked organisation. however, this is usually done by commercial organisations – not by the military establishment. They take an altogether more serious view of hacking and prosecute whenever and wherever possible.
Does anybody know what the US equivalent is of “porridge”???

Just to pick up on Rainbowbrite’s point about password access etc. Originally the suggestion was to have a ‘universal’ password to permit access to the new Forum. She is quite right in what she says – it would have been only a matter of hours before some clown circulated it and the ‘abusers’ got hold of it and off we go again.
However, the current mode of access is by allowing ‘registered users’ only to access the new Forum. This means that they have to use their own confidential password – the one they use to ‘protect’ their registered username.
If one of these registered users leaks their password to another user, they totally compromise the protection of their user name. Whilst it isn’t impossible that this would happen, it is felt to be much less likely.
