Cath, I’m amazed that you can summon up the energy to care much less to show any interest.
Can you just picture the sort of female that would sign up to an internet message board in another country so that she can discuss the most intimate details of her personal relationship with a bunch of absolute and total strangers???
I think that she’s made a big mistake. She’s confused us with someone who gives a shit.
Oh dear oh dear – it looks as though this new initiative has failed even before it’s been launched.
Today ”Dr” John Reid is denying that he even mentioned this initiative at a Cabinet meeting last week, much less did a presentation on it.
Another failed initiative from a failed Government led by a failed musician.
I wonder how the New Labour apologists will manage to spin their way out of this one??? (Another one for you to Google Owen????)

I was idly listening to a news programme this evening when my ears pricked up to hear that Hamas was refusing to get involved in or support the latest referendum in Palestine organised by the Palestinian Authority – note NOTHING to do with Israel OK? their leadership made this decision all by themselves.
Apparently it was said that the reason was that they were pretty certain to lose (they oppose ANY form of recognition of Israel). Interesting eh???
Also it appears that the palestinian arabs are once again fighting each other. Armed gangs from ”Hamas” are shooting it out with armed gangs from ”Islamic Jihad”. So far they have each attacked the other’s headquarters as well as the Palestinian Government buildings and so on and so forth. I expect that they will once again blame the Jews for this and will no doubt have a press photo call to view all the dead bodies.
Christ you can’t leave this lot alone for a moment before they start shooting at each other. Why don’t they stick to murdering Jewish women and children – they’re pretty good at doing that.
Oh and I spotted this one today Emma – it’s a real cracker. Owen is going to just love it.
Does anybody remember the wonderful New Labour mantra of ”education education education”??? Do you remember their fantastic new initiative designed to give 16 – 18 year olds an incentive to stay on in Further Education??? No ???
Well it was called ”The Connexions Card” and was implemented under contract by New Labour’s best friends….. Capita. Basically it was a reward card scheme that awarded ”loyalty points” to students to be spent on such necessities as CD’s and designer clothes etc. The idea was to bribe youngsters to turn up to lessons.
Sadly only 54,788 took up this gimmick – sorry, offer – instead of the promised 1,700,000 and the scheme was officially closed this week by Beverley Hughes the children’s minister and declared a failure. Oh dear what a shame !!!
Still some good came out of this failed initiative. Capita earned the princely sum of £66.14 MILLION and they are due another £41.48 MILLION on top of that even though the scheme has failed. Easy way to make £107 MILLION eh?
BTW New Labour supporters – just so you can compare – this amount would have provided more than 3,300 new teachers or 250,000 new laptops or alternatively replenished understocked school libraries with 10 MILLION new text books.

And here’s the best bit. At a confidential cabinet briefing last week John Reid called for six ”emblematic” policies to curb anti-social behaviour. WOW !!! How brave is he?????
Guess who is going to be responsible for implementing them??? LOCAL AUTHORITIES – that’s who – not your own … your very own Tony and the Home Office.
They are to be FORCED to sign up to a ”Local Area Agreement” in designated ”Respect Areas” as defined by those incompetent pillocks at the Home Office – the same ones that can’t even manages to organise a deportation in a detention centre.
So your Local Authority will be obliged to ”monitor” their progress on seven ”respect” indicators.
Notice that they won’t actually do anything for the Council Tax payers – just monitor their own progress, doubtless at some enormous cost. Bloody typical isn’t it. Issue a new initiative / policy with maximum press coverage and soundbites then get somebody else to do it and pay for it.
Yes folks yet ANOTHER failed initiative from a failed musician. Why don’t they simply have the common decency to just go. Against this lot even the Monster Raving Loony Party looks credible.
Very true Pikey. All the Arabs do is moan and whinge about how unfair it all is whilst the Jews get on and develop their bit of desert, grow crops build businesses and so on.
Meanwhile the Palestinians continue to live like pigs constantly begging for International financial handouts and blaming everybody but themselves for the mess they’re in.
She might however be having a relationship with a Sultan – you never know. But as it was nearly a year ago I think we can all safely assume that they have split up with as much animosity as possible and both now have new partners.
Wouldn’t it be fun if she came back again to ask our collective advice on how to end her next relationship????

Isn’t it strange how the ”leaders” of the Palestinians never go out on suicide missions themselves. They always seem to have an almost inexhaustible supply of disaffected youths culled from several countries (including I believe the UK) ready and willing to kill themselves for the greater glory of Allah.
Yes the youths of Saudi Arabia; Jordan; Syria etc etc have ”no more hope”. Sure they don’t.
I do think all this ‘make the public’ responsible stuff is yet another one of Uncle Tony’s failed initiatives – failed before they have started that is.
The Police constantly preach the message ”Do NOT take the law into your own hands. Let us deal with criminality.” So is this month’s Home Secretary advocating that the public ‘have a go’?????
