That would be a public service and at the same time send a warning message to all other drug users.
1 May, 2006 at 4:31 pm #212432I really can’t see what the issue is with voting – or simply attending a polling station and ‘registering your presence’.
It is a huge problem with democracy that people entitled to vote simply cannot be bothered to attend. There can not be many physical reasons for this. The housebound (for whatever reason), the absent (again for whatever reason) all can have postal votes.
Polling stations are all located within a reasonable distance from voter’s homes.
I think that there should be a legal compulsion to attend and vote. So what if some bloody minded voters place their X against a protest party – they are entitled to vote for whomsoever they please.
The only exceptions should be for grossly fat maggot ridden females who are stuck to their armchairs.
1 May, 2006 at 4:00 pm #211234I still have this enduring picture in my mind of Combat UGO and his collection of assorted skinheads visiting the JobCentre to make enquiries about their self-employed Tax status, when shock horror they just happen to meet up with an assorted bunch of Asian U/B claimants.
I expect that they were able to offer the Asians some well meant advice on how to make a claim in spite of the Asians not having a full command of English. It’s quite likely that Combat UGO and his mates were equally challenged in the finer use of the language.
It is so nice when people are so helpful towards each other isn’t it?
1 May, 2006 at 3:55 pm #212257They tell me that they’ve been together now for 6 weeks, which is real nice.
I always think one of the nicest bits of JustChat / the internet is how it can bring total strangers together and help them form such deep and meaningful relationships – and usually in so short a time. This is truly the way forward.
AND – I’ve been invited to their wedding. I am sorry that it won’t be for a year or so – but it will be well worth waiting for. I hope that they will have a wedding list so that I can choose something really nice to start them off on their lives together.
30 April, 2006 at 10:38 pm #212252Will it be a ”white wedding”???
30 April, 2006 at 6:12 pm #211306I was pondering about this grossly fat maggot ridden female – who is now a grossly fat even more maggot ridden corpse.
If they cremated her, do you suppose they had to set the oven timer for much longer so as to make sure that she was properly ”done”???
Maybe she was buried in her chair – if they couldn’t unstick it from her – sitting up or on her back. Hmmmmmm I ponder…..
29 April, 2006 at 4:21 pm #210717Ah….. I see what you mean now Emma.
So basically you are saying that ANYBODY who ‘uses violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims’ is a terrorist.
Oh dear oh dear Emma, I cannot help thinking that you may have opened a can of worms here. Still, we shall see what the anti-BNP members make of this post eh???
29 April, 2006 at 1:43 pm #210714Er….. Emma I don’t rreally think that you can fairly accuse Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of being a ‘terrorist’.
Granted he may be a lot of things – but surely not a terrorist.
True he did have a pretty murky past including being a student radical in (I think) the 1960’s. How about you explore that bit of his history. I am sure that there is a lot of dirt to be dug up if you are up for it???
