It’s not the place that is full of nastiness.
It’s the users themselves who determine the board’s atmosphere.
If all the users argue & post drivel, then that’s what the board’s atmosphere will be.
It’s not like PB can force you not to argue or post drivel.
Very true Tommy. A recent axample is the post by a Jigsy concerning ”Geoff”. No sooner than it was posted when all the usual suspects came out of their boxes and attacked both her and him in pretty nasty terms.
At the end of the day, this message board is simply some space on a server on which is installed proprietary software. The tone and content of the posts are created and provided by all those who post.
That said, users are entitled to express their views as they see fit (within the overall site rules). My own preference is to mock rather than censor.

OMG!!! Maybe they’re ALL Geoff !!! Dozens and dozens of them all sending PM’s to……..The Sisterhood.
I see where you are trying to raise a few smiles PB (thank you), however in line with dawny’s thread about this forum becoming bi*chy, i do not thank you for lowering the tone of Crazy chicks innocent drive to say a mere hello to new users.
Sod the fact that fights bring ratings up. Who are you? The director general of the BBC.
I wish I had his salary !
By all means sit back and preach at me. The plain fact is that users moan and whinge about how boring the Boards are, and the visiting numbers drop off as a result. As soon as one of the female users launches into some sort of attack – members rush here to read it.

Do you know what a boring old fart you sound? Lighten up, I am not bothered what you believe, the fact you associate yourself with the c*ckend is enough for me to think you are a idiot. :D << Just for you so you might believe I am not being offensive
Oh hello Sian, how nice to hear from you. Got up late did you???

17 March, 2006 at 4:52 pm #112384Australia is a great place to be gay – either permanently or as a visitor!
The Gay Scene in Australia
Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne offer a diverse collection of gay bars, discos, restaurants and saunas as well as gay sex shops and other “sex on premises” venues and cruising spots and beats.
The major organised gay events tend to be concentrated there as well, such as Mardi Gras and the major dance parties and events like the Sleaze Ball, Gay Pride, and Mid-Summa.
But the smaller capitals cities and even some country centres have well-established and thriving gay scenes as well. Yes – Australia is a great place to be GAY !!!
He doesn’t go out with Jane…..
He doesn’t go out with Mary.
He doesn’t go out with girls at all…..
WHOOPS – He’s a fairy !!!17 March, 2006 at 4:43 pm #112382You have arrived in Sydney
Sydney is a dream city for gay and lesbian travellers. It has a thriving gay and lesbian community, a near-perfect climate, strong anti-discrimination laws and, of course, the annual Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
The heart of Sydney’s gay scene is Oxford Street. During the day, Oxford Street’s cafes are perfect for people watching; by night, the action shifts to the street’s clubs and bars, where drag queens mix with leather boys, suburban boys, party boys, butch dykes, glamour dykes, transsexuals, bisexuals … and just about anybody else you can think of.
In Sydney’s inner-west lies another gay and lesbian centre, focused on the suburbs of Newtown and Leichardt. Here you’ll find the Imperial Hotel, home to the long-running Priscilla Queen of the Desert show.
Oh dear oh dear – looks like they really are gay !!!
17 March, 2006 at 4:29 pm #112380Yeah….. and his name was Adelaide
17 March, 2006 at 3:39 pm #112376I heard that Sydney was full of gays. Maybe that’s why is called Sydney and not a non gay name.
Mind you, Adelaide sound a bit gay as well.
