…. and the answer is “Under the Boardwalk”
Clicky here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ObqjGq9QF0&feature=related
BTW this version is by Bruce Willis with The Temptations …. yes that’s right BRUCE WILLIS !!!
I really didn’t know he could sing that well. Watch it and judge for yourself.
8 June, 2009 at 10:44 pm #398755I simply loved the “revenge of the chipmunk” comment, made when Hazel Blears so acrimoniously resigned.
How wonderfully accurate.
8 June, 2009 at 10:42 pm #398914Sure he was …… but then the PLP has amongst its members over 200 paid Government employees (quote from Barry Sheehan MP).
Not too surprising then that they want to keep their lucrative jobs eh?
8 June, 2009 at 10:40 pm #398843Have you noticed that every time Mick Biffin of the BNP appears in front of TV cameras to do his “I’m a rwasonable man of the people” act …… standing behind him are ranged a group of heavies (admittedly in suits these days) with shaven heads?
The underlying message is most unfortunate.
8 June, 2009 at 9:31 am #398776Maybe she should change her name to “Cath 60” so as to save having to change it again for a while – also she’ll get her old age pension.
8 June, 2009 at 9:29 am #398838Your analysis sounds about right to me QM. Mind you I hardly think that the BNP getting two seats is a stunning ‘breakthrough’. I suspect that in four (or is it five) years time, they will lose them again as by then we’ll have gotten rid of the dysfunctional Brown and his buddies.
I find it quite amusing that the BBC newsreaders are practically foaming at the mouth over the BNP getting any seats at all, much less two of ’em. They seem particularly exercised that the BNP’s policies are allegedly ‘homophobic’ – as if this is the single most important issue we face today. The shock and outrage in their questioning is apparent for all to hear.
For some reason they seem to think that a bunch of Northerners in flat caps, half pissed on weak beer, not liking poofters is outrageous. THAT would never happen in the scented corridors of the BBC eh?
6 June, 2009 at 5:59 pm #397476Metallica’s ‘siggy’ looks like ForumHostGM ….. after her trip to the dentist eh???
6 June, 2009 at 5:58 pm #398763I said I wouldn’t …. but here goes anyway.
“New dentists …….. do they know the drill???”
Boom Boom !!!
6 June, 2009 at 11:20 am #398757I’ve visited the Normandy beaches – and no, not on D Day… for those sarcastic buggers amongst you – and in some ways it is quite weird to stand there knowing that this is a part of Europe that will always remain in our memories.
The French were a nation of collaborators back then, and they seem to have learnt little from history since. One can see why they were and remain our ‘traditional enemies’. Fortunately, D-Day was more about beating Hitler and the Germans than about liberating France.
For that stupid little French dwarf to try to make the 65th celebrations only a Franco-American affair simply confirms that he should stick with shagging models taller than himself and remember that, if it wasn’t for the Allies, he would now be growing cabbages somewhere in Greater Germany.
