Is it simply a coincidence that the world is ending in 2012 AND we are forking out billions for the bloody london Olympics???

I sense a conspiracy here …… surely one of the new age tree huggers can generate a convincing conspiracy theory about all this.

    Hmmmmm !!!

Glad you caught him eyeing up the food, and not the dogs..

Well I wouldn’t put it past him.

Sorry – i get easily confused between ‘Fi-fi’ and ‘jen-jen’, it must be the hyphen I guess (or the onset of senility).

I know that “Joss sticks” are terribly ’60’s – but it was my generation that ‘discovered’ them and first started using them. “Incense sticks” sounds somehow so …. religious.

The corned beef thing (or “bully beef” as it used to be called) arises from the perceived knee-jerk need to acquire long lasting rations in case Armageddon arrives. I’m convinced that the Friends of the Earth tree-huggers and their ilk are just waiting for the end to come so that they will all be proved right at last….. hence they all rush out to buy up all the corned beef – just in case.

Now that’s jolly unfair. I don’t despise or undervalue art, beauty, intellectual content, or spiritual values. I just have an healthy scepticism when it comes to the more, shall we say, outlandish forms of approach to nature’s many unusual phenomena.

This doesn’t include brown rice eating, Jesus sandal wearing, trendy lefty tree huggers who rush down to Sainsbury’s and buy up all the corned beef at the drop of an environmental hat. I just plain don’t like them.

But hey, they can always light a few more scented candles and burn a couple more Joss sticks and I’m sure they’ll get over it.
