Well, I’m going to stick my neck right out here and I expect I’ll receive a really good kicking for it …. but here goes.
OK, I’m genuinely really sorry that Jade has terminal cancer and only a couple of months to live……
BUT…..
I just have this really cynical inner feeling that all is not the way it is currently being presented in the Media. I keep on asking myself … what if she doesn’t REALLY have terminal cancer??? What if the whole thing is a Media publicity stunt?
Yes I know before you say it that this is incredibly cynical, but I’m sure it won’t be the first time that somebody had done something utterly outrageous like this, nor will it be the last.
So what do you reckon …. it is real??? Or is it some sort of ghastly publicity stunt?
Hello Geordie …..er ….. nice person. Your posts are and always were interesting or thought provoking. I’ll bet that we both know where the line is drawn in terms of being abusive, anf I’ll also bet that your posting style never went over it.
But hey … it’s nice to see you back, even in only for a brief visit.
Currently, we have a tad under 2,000 users all of whom have, at one time or another, registered an account with us.
For some strange reason, the vast majority never ever post anything. This has been the case ever since I started moderating these boards several years ago – it isn’t just a recent thing.
Having the boards open and viewable by “guests” is intended to encourage them to read first and if they like the content, to join and add their own contribution.
I do think that a lot of potential ‘newbies’ are put off by the incessant ‘flaming’ that occurred up until a while ago. Hopefully they will respond to the altogether more respectful style that is now encouraged here and dip a toe in the water.

Or even window dressers looking out of shop windows looking at people looking into the windows shouldn’t be allowed to sell anything to those that aren’t going to buy anything …… er ….. that’s it.

I know you won’t mind too much if I disagree with you Rosepetal but I wouldn’t particularly want to waste my time on a woman who finds an evening out “more pleasurable” because it is procured at “an exhorbitant price.”
Surely her pleasure should be derived from spending some time with her partner regardless of the venue, the price, or for that matter the occasion?
Oh and BTW, what on earth is this ‘romance’ rubbish all about then eh? (Another way to sucker some poor bloke into spending his hard earned cash of flowers and fripperies).
I’m always slightly surprised at the wide variety of excuses cannabis users come up with to ‘justify’ their use of this illegal drug.
You’d think that the entire medical profession, with all their hundreds of years of accumulated wisdom and in depth knowledge of analgesia, know nothing when compared with a cannabis user’s unequivocal statement that “medecine is useless” and “the only thing that controls my pain” is sitting down and smoking a joint or two.

When it comes to battered old Volvos Batty, I always stay with the facts. A neighbour had a battered old blue one and we made him get rid of it as it definitely ruined the look of the entire area.
