So we’re starting a New Year with a new quiz, new teams, new captains (and presumably new team names)…. and even new questions.
So, as it’s a fresh start, and if none of the other players mind, I’d like to put my name down as a player for one of the teams.
Be warned though, I’m likely to be a liability as I’m not half as clever as I think I am.
Well it’s nearly Spring so bulbs are all the rage right now.
Apparently, they even go as far as telephoning people telling them that a particular building is going to be bombed and at what time and suggesting that they evacuate ASAP.
When they bombed and killed a Hamas leader last week, they spoke to him first and he refused to leave. I wonder if this was an elaborate double bluff. Either way he lived and died by the sword.
I have to note that it would be far more impressive if Hamas used their smuggling routes across the Gaza / Egyptian border to bring in food and medical supplies for “their people” …. but instead they choose to use them to smuggle in explosives, weapons and rockets. I guess that this defines their real priorities and not the bleating in the Media etc.

Would that be the same “Brit” as in Brit Awards; or would it be a short form of “Britney” as in Brit Houston; or is it in fact a contraction of “British expatriates” as in Brit expats.
It might even be an idea to have a team and / or a team captain froim Forum 2 to compete with a team from Forum 3.

I’m in touch with Adeboji Mwambi – in fact I sent him his commission on a deal only last month.
Dammit … he does sarcasm as well as I do.
You know, a part of me says that intensely private stuff (as Reason has posted above) should really stay that way – i.e. private – and not get posted on a ‘public’ message board.
Yet on the other hand, I think that it took a lot of courage to “out” himself in this way and if his story can assist another person to overcome the obvious evils of excess drink, then well done to him and I hope that some good comes of it.
I am also sorry to hear that his personal (and private) relationship has ended. This happens to all of us at one time or another and we each have to deal with it in our own way and move on with our lives.
In some ways an open confessional like this can also help an individual to overcome their sorrow and I also hope that it has this benefit for Reason. I’m sure that there will be other women out there who will be glad to know him and maybe form a realtionship with him in the future.
Sounds like a plan to me as well Pete – after all the Israelis tend to cultivate the land and make it productive.
The other lot build refugee camps on theirs …. blag money from the rest of the world ….. and use it to re-arm themselves and build ever more powerful rockets to shoot at the Israelis.
