It would appear from political and public knee jerk reaction, that the root cause of this disturbance will be swept aside. Amid all the condemnation of those taking part in the riots, we simply cannot overlook the increasing unaccountability we see almost on a daily basis. This comes in many forms, not least the violence now being shown by the police, the abuse of power within Govt. etc and so on.
This can only become worse as we witness the increasing austerity measures taking place. When we have a Govt. that is rewarding those corporations that have now placed this country in an ever downward spiral. When as a result of maladministration,
our country will for many years and possibly generations, have to pay for this.Absolute power ~ corrupts absolutely
