For some people, the not knowing element can make them very distraught in their life…a similar thing can be said of spirits and ghosts…people generally say ` i dont believe `….i have read about people who have this opinion until they then have had an experience in some way with the spirit world, they then become believers…..so, i think for some..absolute belief cannot be reached without a direct influence, i dont think this in itself is a bad thing… i have metpeople from most beliefs but, to my knowledge i have never met any who worship satan, i wonder….do we have any satanists on board our galactic faith ship ? would be interesting to hear your opinions….satanists….come forward..!! :o

Its a matter of fact that to procreate if celibate is impossible….Google can be alright but, its always a better idea i think to go straight to the source for completely reliable wording…..generally, the quotes i find with google are very accurate, as with the quotes from paul and the old testament along with christian doctrine…they appear to create confusion….. in reality i suppose the best source would be the comments from a member of the clergy……btw…i wouldnt recommend googling member of the clergy… :wink:

As with the teachings of paul, ~he wishes they could all be like him~…still, i fail to see the connection between the sriptures from God endorsing procreation on the one side and then making adultery a sin and pauls statements on the other….. to procreate and subdue the earth cannot be posible without marriage unless sex before marriage is the case…again frowned upon by the church… :?
And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
It puzzles me why some denominations of christianity require their clergy to remain celibate….procreation is obviously endorsed in the bible and homosexual behaviour is forbidden….. maybe this gives answer to a comment passed by WooHoo in another thread relating to the number of priests connected to paedophile behaviour… :? :? :?
