Its usually the case after you’ve made a new partition , you stick the XP CD in and let it do the rest .. but i couldnt go through the delete partition process because i didnt have a name on the volume drive where XP would install to ..
So the next step i took was to use the format command from the windows boot disk .. but that didn’t work, so after checking the links that BB gave out i fount that you have to d/l the format command to the boot disk, which is simple enough to do.
by typing in .. a:>extract ebd.cab format.com {ENTER}
then the format command will work i.e a:>format c:
so Ive got me new installation of XP and i still got the same flipping problem i have playing some flash , music or media files .. damn PC freezes up :? I know other people have had this problem before playing flash, but this is the first time Ive had it :?
Ive update my flash player and video drivers, but still no joy
anyone else had the same problem ? or know how to solve it ?
