Hi Dawny,

i have some information for you regarding the tablet your daughter has taken,

i have some medical knowledge, therefore, i hope this helps you.

benzodiazepine’s( the medical term for it) are more comonly known to you and i as valium, now, if we break this down again, (the prescribed term for it) is diazepam, and breaking it down even further ( the street term for it) is valium.

this drug is commonly used for people who suffer from muscle spasms, anxiety, epilepsy, it is available in doses from 2.5mg to 5 mg, and to 10mg it can, in extreme cases, be given up to 20mg, but this dosage is normally administered via IV injection (diazemuls)

if your daughter has taken anything between the 2.5mg to the 10mg.
you have no need to worry, the effects she will suffer is simply tiredness
and she will sleep like a log for a few hours,
when she wakes up she will have the sensation of a hangover.

there are no adverse side affects, and she will not be hooked on it.
it was only 1 tablet she took.

im sure she already feels bad enough about taking it and, i doubt that she will try any further experiments now that she knows the grief and trauma this has caused in her home.

my advice to you is…… stay calm, sit down with her as a family and discuss the reasons why she did this
scratch the surface a little more deeply, there may be an underlying reason as to why she took it, there may be not.

but whatever you do, please dont yell, scream, shout, throw things, or get drunk.
this will not help her, and it will not help your family.

she is probably more terrified than anyone else right now.
