She was due to visit me yesterday for a meal and im posting this now as ive spoken to mark as he knew all about it. Stephi was a friend who never complained.Infact we argued on Friday when she learned i was concerned about her health. She was a very doting wife and mother and also continued doing her everyday tasks with distinction. Today i received a letter in the post from mark that moved me to tears. for what its worth in this hell hole of a thread is that im saddened at her passing. I for one am going to miss our daily chats and already am. My heart goes out to you mark and little jack. You have my details mark so please contact me with any news my friend .

22 August, 2010 at 11:46 am #445993My own personal opinion. However, this light entertainment can be cruel – look at the media’s treatment of Susan Boyle. And then there was Simon Cowell’s initial reaction to her – his well published eye roll before she’d even opened her mouth. That was based solely on her looks – cruel.
thats what makes us such a great nation …we love an underdog !! i personally dont like susan boyles voice but that particuar song was great for her. she has made millions and that is from a simon cowell programme on tv, so dont knock him .the light entertainment tv is cruel, but dont tell me after so many years on tv people dont know that. Its a giggle to watch and there is a lot of talent when the finals start !!!.. its sublime to talent and simon cowell is recognised for that
