Weak saddos like Fastcars will always try to jump on someone else’s bandwagon and twist the knife but I do wonder why PB allows people like ‘Kate’ to spout this hatred on the boards. Perhaps he would be kind enough to explain to us what his plans are for dealing with this? Anyway, don’t lose any more sleep over it Beatty – it’s not worth it!

Not really Fast, I like a laugh as much (probably more) than most but I just can’t stand shi tstirring twonks who get off on trying to make people miserable and I will stand up for people being bullied wherever possible. As you know, I try to avoid nonentities like you altogether.

That is true to some extent, but generalising. If I were to generalise, I would say that people who use the boards are those that are fed up with all the mwaahh, lol, brb, wb, rofl, kissy-kissy shyte and the pervs and the scrollers and the shouters in the chat rooms. It’s not the speed of the rooms that scares board users off, it’s the banality of it (not that the Boards have been that great lately either tbh and, yes, I am as guilty as anyone). If I were to generalise, I would say that room users are scared of using the boards because they may have to say more than just ‘hi’ or ‘bye’ and many of them are incapable of having a proper discussion (except 30’s and 40’s rooms).
In truth, of course, most people are able to find their level in either environment and will switch between the two, depending on their mood or where the interesting stuff is going on at the time.
