So they come here and persecute us? Makes sense now.
Don’t be stupid woman ffs. They should be punished in other ways and, as I said, they should all be looked at for deportation as a general rule. Just don’t send back the ones who will seriously be at risk of losing their lives. How’s young Winston btw? Kicking yet?
9 May, 2006 at 11:49 am #213773I didn’t ask what Nationality he was I asked what colour he was. Och they all look the same to me, it’s hard to tell. Can you tell what sex it is too?
8 May, 2006 at 10:53 pm #214179np Slayer – but whilst I agree that every immigrant committing a crime serious enough to warrant a prison sentence (whether imprisoned or not btw) should be reviewed with a view to deportation, it doesn’t mean that those with genuine fear of retribution in their home country should be deported. The majority, however, should lose the right to remain.
The Army can only have so many people poli and I don’t think we should deny anyone who wants to make the Army his/her career a place just to cater for criminals. Neither can we allow Army Officers the right to ‘beast’ criminals more than normal recruits – they would sue the Army and the Officers would all leave, either after court martial or by choice – and normal recruits don’t get ‘beasted’ anymore.
There was talk of ‘boot camps’ being set up a couple of years ago (I think as a trial) but i don’t know what the outcome was. I suspect the instructors all got sued and are in the glass house peeling potatoes whilst the yobs are out spending their compensation money on stella and tongue-piercings (erm..probably).

8 May, 2006 at 10:23 pm #214173I don’t think that criminal immigrants should be deported per se. Many of them have come here to escape persecution so what would be the sense in sending them back to their possible death? If that is the policy, we might as well just shoot them here and save the flight costs. That said, for major crimes, immigrants should certainly have their entitlement to stay reviewed and, where there is clearly no danger to life, then deportation should certainly be a consideration.
I think it is wrong of the Home Secretary to pander to the whims of the hysterical press by saying he will deport any immigrant guilty of committing a crime. Labour (well, any government) should focus on getting tough on crime like they always say they will. It would be silly to think the number of immigrants reoffending whilst on parole is anywhere near as high as the number of ‘natural’ UK citizens doing the same thing. Get tough on them all I say and ffs stop fannying about – I think most people have lost faith in the criminal justice system.
On the subject of National Service, I am sure it would help bring some discipline into people’s lives but do we really want a bunch of lunatic young offenders running around with weapons? They should have discipline instilled into their system (by parents and society) from a very young age – not leave them until they’re nearly 20 and try to force them to change their ways. Apart from that, the days of Army Instructors beating the cr@p out of recruits to ‘teach’ them discipline have (sadly perhaps) long gone.
8 May, 2006 at 9:19 pm #213766Just looked a bit dark-skinned to me – maybe it’s the light?
8 May, 2006 at 9:15 pm #213765Look lovely – is the father coloured by any chance?
8 May, 2006 at 9:13 pm #214168I bet they had a devil of a job getting them out…

erm..in your heading you dozy cow.
 Wrote the wrong thing there :D Tis child abuse though, so not scraping the barrel, just stating fact.
How about replying to the other points i made, or have you lost the argument and now see sense?
Ok, well you also wrote the wrong thing in the last paragraph of your original post too – clumsy!
I am not replying to the rest cos I am not going to go back over the same old ground over and over again. I would just take issue over one new revelation tho. You said:
No one told me that it is bad not to want to play with another child because he or she was a different colour. I was given the choice.
Maybe that explains why you have grown up thinking the way you do, who knows?
Ok I am outta this thread now.
