Well done you guys for showcasing just two of many millions from the ethnic community who make a valuable contribution to our society (maybe pikey/tommy should start a thread whereby we praise all sorts of ethic minority Britons for their efforts – from carers to VC holders and everything inbetween?).
oh and be aware that situations like these still occur every single day for our forces in Iraq now. British forces face gun and bomb attacks EVERY day; just someone decided it’s no longer newsworthy if they just lose a foot or an eye. Lest we forget….

No not because the press said Owen but because I am capable of an opinion. I think he should go because he is tactically inept and a poor decision-maker. I’d prefer him to stay cos then your team would have no fecking chance of ever winning anything which, quite frankly, would suit me to a T! :wink:

To be honest this could be the first sensible thing Emma has ever posted but I also see where Lamby’s cynicism is coming from:
A cynic would ask, “what is Emma really saying here – is she trying to tell us that the anti-racists lobby is so weak and it’s arguments so full of holes that it has to rely on a drug-crazed tosspot like pete doherty to plug its message”?
I hope she has just missed the irony of her post and is genuinely concerned as to why this man is not in prison where he clearly belongs, but she cries wolf so many times how can she expect people not to treat this post with a degree of cynicism?

I think Sven should go – he has, through his tactical blunders, been the cause of most of Englands most painful defeats – think of games against France, Brazil and Portugal: all key games which England managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by deciding to shut up shop and try to hold onto a lead. That might have worked in Italian league football but England players simply don’t know how to do this – he didn’t learn and probably never will. England could win this World Cup (God forbid!) but not if they try to sit back and defend against technically superior teams.
