Why isn’t London included?
London has a directly elected mayor, who acts as the police and crime commissioner for the Metropolitan police area. The police and crime panel is formed from a committee of elected London Assembly members. The commissioner of the Metropolitan police will continue to be a Royal appointment on the advice of the home secretary.
London residents don’t get to vote as their Mayor already does the job…

I was once eating a satsuma when my cat appeared at my side, fixing me with that feed me or die look. She was very insistent so I bit a segment in half and offered it to her, thinking it would make her realise that not everything I ate was suitable for her…she sat there and licked the satsuma juice until it was dry…I don’t think anyone’s told her that cats don’t like citrus fruit!
