And there are many reasons why a woman may not want to go through pregnancy. In the example of failed contraception, they were adult enough to commit the act, they were adult enough to take precautions, they are adult enough to take the decision on whether or not to go ahead with the pregnancy.

ty Kenty..I was also wondering what all that was about.
Jen Jen, you are a lovely character..don’t worry if someone takes exception to you.
John, you’re usually well worth reading as well, not sure what’s going on here, but if you dislike someone, it’s usualy best to try to keep it to yourself – in my humble opinion.
Unless you dislike Terry. Terry is fair game lol
we all love ya really, Tel
ty scep.
I would be lying if I said I don’t want to be liked – we all do, it’s human nature. Those that say they don’t care whether they are liked or not are lying, either to themselves or to others, or are sociopaths. Where an interaction doesn’t go smoothly, whether online or in real life, I like to learn from it if I can. However as much as I have that human desire to be liked, I’m also adult enough to know that not everyone will like me and I can live with that…I do like to understand why though. What intrigues me more is how we can go from a simple glib statement from Terry about who Kim Kardashian is (and of course he knows she’s female, her picture is all over the place, I don’t read newspapers or watch tv and even I can’t get away from her!) to a condemnation of people for – gasp – using fake names and daring to use obviously fake photos (I’d be more concerned about those that use attractive photos that aren’t obviously fake personally), a statement of dislike and so much inconsistency and hypocrisy in one relatively short thread…Kim Kardashian’s hunger for fame whilst not apparently doing very much for it has a lot to answer for!

I respect that jen_jen and if I knew your e-mail addy or any other details about you I would never divulge them to anyone through respecting your ability to post here – I may dislike you from what you say but I do have limits to how I would respond
Sadly some do not have the same respect and have posted our details online – but hey that is their life to live
I read that as saying that you dislike me from what I say, but that you have limits on how you would respond and that if you had my personal details you would never divulge them.
Please tell me if I have misinterpreted it and what you were really trying to say.
exactly jen_jen and if you can’t understand what I am saying then you really are sad
Exactly what?
Exactly that was what you were saying?
Exactly I have misinterpreted it?If I can’t understand what you are saying maybe it’s down to miscommunication or a simple misunderstanding, but please don’t dismiss me as sad, I am far from it.

I see you have another fan Terry
The first Kim was one of twins born a day after me – he and his brother Stephen were good friends of mine during our school years – sadly this Kim (male) died young
The other Kim female was in the year below mine but for a few years we both worked for the same company in Oxford and I gave her a lift to work – oddly enough she also had twin brothers though they were younger than her
It is always easy to poke fun out of others jen_jen but as the only thing you know about me is that I live in France and am married to Helen – could say more but in respect to Kim C
a good friend sadly missed I will say no more for nowI’m not sure what all that has to do with my comment but it’s always sad when someone dies young.
And yes it is easy to poke fun out of others isn’t it? But I don’t think I was poking fun at you, I was referring to this:

But is Terry the shortened form of Terence or Teresa?
And now you add this:

so why the need to use another name and obviously someone else’s picture?
And you’re having a go at me for making fun of you? Although I can’t see where I’m doing that…but hey, if it suits you to feel that way, knock yourself out.
Terry can answer for himself I’m sure but I think you’ll find his name really is Terry. Mine isn’t Jen though, and I doubt that yours is J.
