We all encounter dilemmas throughout our day, but do you ever make a decision then wonder what other people would have done?

Here was my dilemma this morning. I drove into the car park as usual, went to the row nearest the shopping centre doors and as I came around the corner a car started reversing out of the ideal spot…result I thought. I drove in, parked up, got out and was about to walk away from my car when an elderly man stopped me saying “excuse me, I’ve been waiting for that space.” Now there was no one waiting when I came around the corner and the car park had lots of empty spaces. I gave him a confused look and said that I was sorry but I hadn’t seen him waiting at which he replied “well no, I’ve been driving around this block waiting for a space to come free, it’s easier for me and the missus to park here. Anyway there’s a space over there coming free that you can use.” I had to point out that it was a mother and child space and I wasn’t eligible for that.

Dilemma…do I move my car and give up the space even though he wasn’t obviously waiting and was just driving around in circles, or do I say sorry, I didn’t see you driving around but there are plenty more spaces in the car park. What would you have done?

And what dilemmas have you had recently?

I’d have happily moved my car and given him the space near the shopping centre – he and his missus probably have trouble walking far but are not registered as disabled.

It’s no different to giving up my seat on the train, bus or in a waiting room for someone who needs it more than I do.

And what would you do if you were registered disabled and couldn’t walk very far?

    I’m not, though.

I am…guess that’s what made it more of a dilemma for me, whose need for that convenient parking space was greater, mine or his…

lol Sgt I wouldn’t understand the first thing about betting but would say if you can afford to lose the money, then go for it!
