I think if you’ve got a lot of christmas shopping to do then the sales come a little bit too soon. Only only one thing on my wishlist – fell in love with it as soon as I saw it:

The Beavis and Butthead Collectors Edition – 10 discs in all including the special edition of Beavis and Butthead Do America. I never thought I’d grow up this fast!

I don’t think throwing money around is the answer for Derby. Look at Keane at Sunderland, he spent something like £40m on players – including £9m for his keeper – knowing that his team would be among the favourites for relegation before the season even started and that’s an opinion a lot of folk still have. No, I missed your second post. So what does that say about me? I’m hardly the older generation but I moan about a lot of today’s music. It’s about personal choice and nothing to do with older/younger generations.

But did they ever like the Beatles? If not then the point about going through phases doesn’t really hold up with that as an example cos they clearly didn’t. If, in time, they grew to accept the Beatles then fair enough.

Afraid just about everywhere here is a haven for the young at nights so there’s not much give and take when it comes to what gets played. The only ones that aren’t are a haven for the ‘quiet pint’ minority who probably wouldn’t take kindly to any sort of music.

Surely you’ve heard of Glasgow Rangers and Aberdeen? Especially when you put the two together and watch the sparks fly!! Matches between those two can be as fierce if not more so than the Old Firm Derby (that’s Rangers v Celtic)
