Can I also just point out that it’s not actually my joke – I just thought it was funny and that’s entirely different

    No Ghost gag’s please.

    You mean like:

Patrick Swayze has agreed to appear in the sequel to Ghost. Filming starts in about six weeks. That sort of thing?

If so, then I for one promise not to do any.

No need to worry – after all, I get paid to watch folk fighting with each other on a Friday/Saturday night (welll, there’s actually a bit more to my job than that tbh) so there’s a bit of balance to it

It’s a matter of trust pats, you’d like to think that if you were talking to someone on a one to one basis then it’d stay as that unless you were quite happy for a third or fourth party to join in.

Can I just clarify one thing here as well? I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying that people talk and as such these things happen. We all gossip at some point and I think that’s where the cracks start to appear in the arguement. The above example for instance, you’d like to think it was private at the time but there is a strong chance that as soon as the conversation is over that the other person may sit down with someone else and rip the arse out of everything that’s just been said.

I actually agree with fastcars here (take note of the date as I doubt it’ll happen again!) that it is pretty much the same thing.

I work with mostly women and they’re constantly talking about text messages they’ve recieved (or reading them out as they get them) or conversations they’ve had which I doubt the other person who they had the initial conversation with/had been swapping the text messages with would be especially happy about.

You may think it’s different, but as we say in these parts ‘It’s six and half a dozen’

Well, since you’re confessing to Neighbours I’ll confess to Emmerdale. When Butch Dingle died I had to leave the room

my mam still not had a cry as yet

I think some folk are just like that. I know I’ve never cried at losing anyone, but strangely enough I cried at the end of Armageddon and Man On Fire. Go figure.

Rangers beating Bremen 2-0 made even sweeter by a moment of goalkeeping hilarity in the first half :D

I’m surprised actually, when I saw the teams for the last 32 Bremen were in my top five possible winners. Thought if they avoided Bayern then they’d meet them in the final – could still happen.
