I’m guessing it probably looks like some sort of key
29 August, 2008 at 12:33 pm #367262I love mine, fair enough it’s tedious sometimes. Some days/nights when there’s nothing happening can be painfully long, but then there are others when you know you’re really helping and they’re the ones that make it worth it. A lot of the work I do can literally make all the difference and it rarely goes unappreciated. It’s annoying when you can’t do anything, but that’s how things go sometimes. Can’t get it exactly right all the time.
A lot of it does depend who I’m working with as oppose to or as well as what I’m actually doing. If it’s a quiet day or a quiet night, then working with people I get on well with makes it go in quicker.
28 August, 2008 at 2:42 pm #342638Now that it’s drawing to a close, is anyone else dissapointed by BB themselves? I thought they were supposed to be ‘tough’ this year. With the exception of the Dennis and Alex or whatever her name is, they’ve tolerated a lot.
There’s been a lot of repeated rule breaking – Kat springs to mind – and the punishment is really just to go and sit in the garden. Every time, no matter how ‘seriously’ they claim to take it. They’ve also been very leniant with Rex & Darnel, I’ve found a lot of that quite uncomfortable viewing but they’re just told ‘Don’t do it again’ In other words ‘You’ve got away with it, even though we don’t condone it’
And as for last night, it would have been better if Rex or Darnel had been in there instead. That would’ve been more unpredictable. It was obvious what Sara and Lisa were gonna do before they even had to make the decision.

27 August, 2008 at 7:06 pm #36697527 August, 2008 at 6:51 pm #366972Here’s one in blank verse (incidentally, I used that phrase on my first day of Higher English. It was all downhill from there and I failed spectacularly)
I read a poem from WooHoo
It was pishI think I’ve missed my true calling
27 August, 2008 at 5:38 pm #327420Got a new printer today, set it up in no time – only to find that there was a problem with the ink cartridges. They were loaded in fine, clicked into place in the right place so couldn’t think what the hell was wrong with it.
Problem was that one of the cartridges, that came with the printer, seemingly isn’t compatible with the printer
27 August, 2008 at 5:34 pm #366961Fixed it – and it’s ridiculous. One of the cartridges, that came with the printer, wasn’t compatible with the printer.
Why it was in there in the first place (got it from Argos, thankfully I bought another ink cartridge when I was there) god alone knows.
27 August, 2008 at 4:44 pm #366960No, it’s not that. There isn’t any tape on them – don’t think so anyway. There is orange tape attached to them that you are instructed to remove initially. Then there’s that strip of tape that runs from the bottom of the cartridge round the back. Does it come off as well?
Actually, to be clearer – it was the protective tape I removed.
23 August, 2008 at 7:16 pm #365922Famly aside, I wouldn’t give anyone anything – big house, big gates, big ‘f**k off’ sign directed at all those ‘Could you spare me a couple of minutes of your time’ timewasters, loads of land and trespassers shot on sight :D
