Actually, the fact that I work with the police doesn’t have a great deal to do with it. I’ve always had issues with folk who think (remember that word, it’s key) they know better. So it’s only heightened an opinion that’s always been there.
You may not have noticed either that I used the term ‘generally’ which isn’t the same as ‘always’ which you seem to have read it as.
Have you ever read ‘Wasting Police Time’ by PC David Copperfield? It’d be funny if it wasn’t true.
The big question here is ‘Why aren’t all these druggies locked up?’ Simple – being a druggie isn’t a crime and unless they’re either caught dealing or in posession there’s sweet FA the law can do.

Crime levels would probably stay the same – as must coppers would rather harrass innocent people than catch all the murderers, robbers, rapists etc..
I bet they would get all the Community Officers doing their dirty work, pretty much the same as before they went on strike. :roll:
Did you by any chance get caught speeding once? Only I work with the police (not a cop) and that’s generally the sort of thing you hear from people who think they have a divine right to break the law so long as it’s not a ‘real’ crime.

I have it on good authority that god is not fat. I asked one of the god squad who enjoy talking to me when I’m not listening to find out since he speaks to god and god speaks back.
They both left very quickly after that. Dunno why.
Yep, you’ve got to think that France, Holland and Italy are/were among the pre tournament favourites. Now at least one of the big boys won’t be there long which could make an interesting tournament for the others.
You’re p**sed off about having to go to work? I’m p**sed off cos I’ve just read something that makes me think I am back at work trying desperately hard not to listen to the girls in the office complaining about men and here’s why:
They go out on the pull at the weekend, they meet someone else who’s also out on the pull, one thing leads to another and then the guy is a scumbag cos he was just out on the pull and not searching for someone to spend the rest of his life with. WTF kind of twisted logic is that?! The term ‘hypocrisy’ seems to be lost on some people.
Repair bill? What sort of man do you think I am?!
Technically, it hasn’t been five days – my PC was away for repair Tuesday, Wednesday and part of Thursday. So neh-neh!
Anyway, I believe money was mentioned and I’m not easily swayed.
