It’s possible, unlikely but possible. But I don’t know where this idea of snatching random children off the street cos you think you’re doing the right thing comes from. What sort of logic goes into that? Did it not occur to this person that if he/she did just that and it turned out to be a case of mistaken identity, the parents would be fretting, the child would most probably be terrified and in their defense, they’re gonna say ‘Well, you’ve got to admit there is a similarity’

Nowt wrong with your ears, it is a perfect song by a perfect vocalist. Dunno why they’ve decided to go for a more metal feel to the latest album, it’s good but I prefer Fallen.
You may not be aware of this, I did it and wasn’t aware, but by using the term ‘quite good’ you have effectively called her music crap. I know, it came as a bit of a shock to me when I realized… :roll:
At least you didn’t go as far to suggest that there are better vocalists, that’d be the ultimate insult!!

I don’t think they’ll ever beat My Immortal, that song damn near brings a tear to my eye when I hear it now (must be going soft in my old age)
Finished laughing and crying my way through the 26 DVD box set of Only Fools and Horses. Glad I’ve seen (and can watch again) every episode.
I’ve had some similar to that but I don’t know all the tech terms to explain it.
Basically, from what I understand, it’s just reccomending an add on for the site to function. If you click on the message, you should see an option to install. On mine, it’s usually ‘Install DirectX (or something similar)’ or ‘What’s the risk?’
Depending on what the site is, I usually just let it do what it wants. If that makes any sense.

Regarding the sightings that have been reported – there’s a letter in today’s Daily Record about how the potential kidnappers could have gone elsewhere by the time those who take photos etc return home. So here’s what this person/idiot suggests:
Get a close enough look to make absolutely certain it’s her (you achieve that how exactly? Just say ‘Excuse me, I don’t think that child’s yours – may I take a closer look and while I’m here can I see her birth certificate just so that I’m certain I’m not making a stupid mistake?’) then snatch her and run away to the nearest police station, which could be miles away if you’re in the middle of nowhere.
You wonder why nobody else thought of that, don’t you :roll: ?
I have to agree pats, Amy Lee is a terrific vocalist. Perfect examples are ‘My Immortal’ and ‘Broken’ which is actually by Seether (don’t judge by the name, fair enough one of their songs is called ‘F**k it’ but that takes nothing from the fact that they play some good music!) but there’s a version that features her vocals.
Within Temptation are really good if you like Evanescence. Especially ‘Angels’
Truth be told up until a couple of months ago, I hadn’t a clue who she was either. I had heard the name but that was about it.
And that’s not a lie – I was in blissful ignorance until she hit the headlines for winning an award.
