I have to agree, bat. The ‘They’ve taken her’ reaction was a strange response indeed. For all anybody knew at the time, including Kate (who seems to get more sympathy and time in the media than her husband for some reason) she may well have wandered off by herself. That’s what kids do given the chance so it’s strange that her initial reaction was so, what’s the word, insistent?

It just gets better – now they’re claiming that Rangers fans should apologize for their ‘We are the people’ banner as it suggests that Zeta are not the people and are not part of civilization. FFS!! What’s next?

My computer’s just been a bit tepramental recently, bat. Moments after my last post I clicked my homepage and everything froze. But I’ve restarted it and it’s opened now.
And I don’t know what the hell to make of it. It’s been twisted in so many different ways I don’t know who or what to believe about it.

Going back to the subject of women not reporting rape, I have never actually thought about it from the point of view that someone, somewhere may take the attitude of ‘Well, you didn’t do a lot to discourage it, did you? If it happened at all and you’re not just crying wolf cos you’re embarrased by your actions’ That happened here recently, a girl got drunk and had a threesome with two equally drunk lads. In the cold light of day, she was worried what her friends and family would think so she cried rape.
I thought it was primarily to do with the fact that it is very difficult to prove. DNA testing
and the likes can prove whether there was some form of sexual activity but it cannot prove that there was no consent.Exactly BM. UEFA have to act. Why take action against a club like Rangers, and I don’t condone sectarian singing, who have initiatives in place but seemingly turn a blind eye to the same and worse happening elsewhere? As you pointed out, this sort of thing happens much more regularly elsewhere than it does on these shores.

Fair point, I really only mentioned Rangers as they’re my team. Toulouse should be straight forward enough for Liverpool, but the fact that I never even knew that they’d qualified makes them a bit of a surprise package with nothing to lose . That can be a dangerous thing but I reckon Liverpool will cope.
I think Rangers have, on paper anyway, got the more favourable draw of the British clubs but that counts for nothing. I thought Zeta would be a formality.
Fact is that Rangers can’t afford to miss out on qualification to the group stages at least, won’t be easy but could have been much harder.
