While I’m not exactly a fashion icon mysef, I have to agree with sweetasbaileez that perhaps it wasn’t an ideal choice given the lack of , shall we say, ‘filling’
Not that things like that are vitally important of course  but it helps. Hence why I no longer wear pants…
7 May, 2007 at 11:05 am #269210So which one is she? Is she the one wearing the dress or the one in the clever disguise as a pair of curtains?
6 May, 2007 at 10:30 pm #269287I don’t know if I’d go along with that Slayer. I agree that the team isn’t good enough, but they have some terrific players. Given is one of the best in the business, Owen is a terrific striker (granted, he’s had injury problems so he can escape lightly) Dyer, Parker – they’re not bad players.
They need motivation, not money. Walter Smith at Rangers is a perfect example of how vital that is. Rangers looked dead and buried under PLG, but look at the turn around with largely the same group of players.
6 May, 2007 at 10:15 pm #269202Shame I missed it, I love people who take themselves way too seriously. I do come across that way sometimes but it’s meant to come across in a ‘Is that your best effort? Seriously, you’ll have to try harder!’ sort of way. And usually, my mates know that’s just my way of getting a rise out of them.
But I think the users of this forum know that now too so if I sound arsey, it’s just cos I’m a provocative wee s**te aiming for a reaction! So long as we all know where we stand, it’s all good in the hood as they say in the hood.
Actually, where is THE hood exactly?

F..cars – that was really really cruel. John boy has a sense of humour – Angela had her’s surgically removed. Anyway I’ll bet he doesn’t have a pair of chintz trousers.
I bet he,s got tartan ones so he looks like Rupert the Bear.
Welcome to the madhouse John Boy. It,s good ere innit? :lol:It was, but now I’m totally confused (well, a bit more than normal anyway!)
:)
6 May, 2007 at 5:08 pm #269196Is someone going to let me in on the joke? Who the hell’s Angela? I don’t mind cruel, I think cruel can be hilarious sometimes.

I have a sneaky feeling it was something like Bad manners ……
That would explain why he’s so keen to get me drunk then!

6 May, 2007 at 1:11 pm #269185I am playing nice – I haven’t even dipped into my favoured range of vocabulary yet! I just like playing people at their own game, that’s all. Battles are fought but wars are won and to the victor, the bragging rights!
Funnily enough, fearless isn’t term that sprang to mind….
:P
