Exactly, it’s scant consolation for all concerned. And as I pointed out, those three points could have a huge say in where the title ends up, admitting the mistake won’t make up for anything.
If anything, it just makes things harder to take. If your team loses to the better side, then fair enough. If your team loses cos the ref has made a bad call, it’s harder to take. And then for the ref to admit that, with the benefit of hindsight, he made the wrong call that makes things worse. I’d rather not know!

Think you’re hoping too much there :lol: Fair enough, they’re not the first artists to be addicts and they’re not the first addicts to be idolized, I’m a Nirvana fan ffs so I’d have a cheek to be critical of anyone for being a fan of a band or singer with problems, but to class them as heroes for their generation is a step too far.
You could do a version for those that don’t appreciate that sort of music, I reckon it’d work to ‘Englishman In New York’ or whatever that Sting song is.
