I always understood that initial reports of any crime generated an incident number rather than a crime number and that they always started with the date of when the incident was reported.

I’ve went for a Thursday as I think that’s a nice day to have peace, and everyone is looking forward to the weekend where it will 100% not be peace free, so a nice day to recharge the batteries and embrace the inevitable onslaught.
