So I was visiting my girlfriends parents today for the first time, I got in the house and there was her parents and brother. It was a bit awkward as you would expect, but the family dog was on the rug licking his balls… I pointed at the dog and said I wish I could do that, hoping to release some tension and get a laugh… Her mother turned to me…[Read more]

I shall respond later, my battery is dying…
Quick answer, I call myself a Christian because I believe in God, and I believe Christ died for my sins.
There is way more to it than that but need to charge up x

I already told you I haven’t read a lot of it
I’m happy to debate with you but please don’t assume that just because I believe in God that I am somehow inferior to you or attack my beliefs. I’m not critisizing you for not believing, please don’t make this about my beliefs.
Why do you think cheating is wrong? I don’t necessarily…[Read more]

Mags…
Where do our inbuilt morals come from?
Please don’t accuse me of preaching, my views on morals dont stem from my faith, trust me, if they did, I would be doomed.
So are you saying that cheating is wrong, immoral, in every single instance?

Scep..
At the risk of turning this into another “God” thread, the “mark” is absolute truth, perfection. We all fall short of that.
If there is a God, who are we to judge? If there isn’t, who are we to judge?
Who decides what’s right or wrong? The couple I am talking about have been married over twenty years, she is cheating with one man, a man…[Read more]

She was against the idea originally, he loves her enough to not deny her, they discussed it at length.
I would rather associate with honest, flawed people than those who sit in judgement.

You’re presuming again.
If sin doesn’t exist, where do your morals come from? (I am genuinely curious)
Sin exists for me, murder, rape, they’re not a sin? Call it wrongdoing if you like, tis sematics.
I agree cheating is wrong, my question was who are we to judge, it all comes down to personal opinion.

Sin is falling short of the mark, and we all do that.
You are assuming a lot of things about him, and her. They love each other and he is in no way upset.
Who decides what is “right?” You?

Magmanimous I never mentioned paralysed once, your quoting me from someone else’s post, I was replying to you simply about the vibrator comment, a vibrator does not do the things I mentioned, correct? You just totally twisted that… :)

king_strongbow started the topic What food products did you hate to eat as a kid but like/love now? in the forum Getting serious 8 years, 6 months ago
One for me is Brussels sprouts, could not stand them but absolutely love them now. A condiment I never liked as a kid was English mustard but absolutely love it now, especially on chicken drumsticks. Those are two from the top of my head…

It was his suggestion.
The point in trying to make is that tis easy to judge, without pausing to think why people may cheat.
Is it wrong? A sin? Personally I think yes but not one of us is sinless. Sin is like an arrow missing the bullseye, doesn’t matter how wide you miss the target, you still miss.

There are a lot of things a sex toy doesn’t do, no love & affection, a nice foot rub, a back massage, a cuddle and kiss watching a movie together, regardless of that though, people should just leave relationships when the love is gone (instead of cheating). Life is short, why spend it being miserable, that way both parties can move on and find…[Read more]

People cheat for a myriad of reasons…
Would you condemn a woman for seeking love and affection outside of an unhappy abusive marriage? Or a man who seeks comfort from a heartless wife? What about open marriages? Or ones where the partner cant enjoy intimacy?
I know a close friend who cheats on her husband, he was paralysed in an accident, she…[Read more]
