I never went to uni, agricultural college yes, I trained to teach kids to ride.

This is why this place fascinates me, this jostling for position, who we choose (if we do), and behind all the rhetoric, all the baiting, there is still this thirst for knowledge, for acceptance.

One of my favourite books is Roots by Alex Haley.

It made me ashamed to be white until I realised the shame isn’t mine. It’s every individual that uses colour, race, religion, sexuality, whatever, as a tool to inflict power.
