I was a big fan of Enid Blyton… “The Famous Five” and “The Secret Seven”, but will always have a special place in my heart for the wonderful “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe”
Did anyone ever read “Carbonel”, and “The Kingdom of Carbonel” by Barbara Sleigh? I’ve just passed both these books to my daughter, but afraid she’s not a keen reader yet. She prefers numbers! :?
