is its only certian pics it will not load.

maybe its not reconising the files extension

can happen when you install new programs that involves changing your file extension over.

like photoshop , you can change it back by going to properties of the file and chainging to load up in IE instead.

if your virtual memory running low , check how much hard disk space is left

maybe windows can’t fit anything more on hard disk , could be why windows isn’t loading that pics up as pics can take up alot of space.

windows loads memory from ram to hard disk (virtual memory ).
As ram can fill up quite quicly windows needs to dump that info to hard disk so it can
can free up ram memory for more important system files.

its keeps your machine running smothly.

check hard disk space free up memory

    hope this helps

dual core means you can shrink a film or run a program that use’s alot of
processing power and still go on the internet with out noticing the computer
    under heavy load.

    means you can do more

    very good idea

amd bring out a new processor that got 4 cores in it , were getting silly now lmao

but there not games of programs that will use both cores at same time(not yet any way )

you should have lots of fun when the pc arrives , and 19 tft , i want it lmfao

i got 17 tft and the screen size is as big as a 19 inch crt .

be like having a 20 inch pluged on to the computer yay , fantastic

 coming round yours to play computer games

there is a way of checking disk with windows xp recovery disk.

you make this floppy via the formating floppy disk tool

best to go to windows site for more instructions on how to repair disk via

    xp floppy disk

i used it once , but i got lazy and decided to make a hard disk image i have on dvd so if this happens i just reload the image.

sorry i couldn’t be of more help

i’ve update the bois on more than one computer.

seems to be a new trend with new mother boards
As long as you follow the intructions your mobo manufacture recomends you should have no probelms.

make sure you use clean floppy disks , new ones are best and that your floppy drive is working ok before you start the flash when.

also don’t touch the machine while its flashing , shouldn’t be a problem as it doesn’t take long, useally a minute.

if the board flash doesn’t sort memory out then it could be the memory like cybercat said
also check the voltage the memory should be set to , sometimes that works.

check with website first as uping the voltage can damage the memory

moral of the story is to check on the mobo website for memory compatability ,
they useally have a list of tested memory.

never buy cheap budget memory , and if its going in machine with other memory .
always best to check its same make so you don’t get timing errors.

    hope this helped

the more ram you have the more files you can open , 512mb is ok.

Gaming is where you notice the difference in computer speeds.

if its just the net a 700mhz to 1ghz processor and 256mbs of ram with win 98se or xp will be fine.

your friends processor has a faster speed , so works faster.

but porcessor speed can vary from machine to machine.

3.0ghz celeron wont work as fast as a 2.5 ghz pentium 4 , as in celeron was built for budget pc’s

and you can also have 1 gig of ram , but it might not work as fast as 512mb ddr 400mhz

my mothers machine has 512mb of ddr266 ram and 2.7 ghz celeron , but it doesn’t work as fast as the 1.800 mhz xp amd samsung ddr 512 msb ddr400 memory (sorry getting really techy there) my old machine i gave to my brother lol , still really good and will run doom 3 very well.

basically don’t worry about it, unless your buying new games all the time or shrinking films using divx .

    hope this helps
