Well my childrens’ school was open but I didn’t take them, I do not view that as ‘essential travel’
We got another 6 inches or so over night and thunder and lightning… WTF?
The snow is now so heavy its sliding off peoples roofs with the weight and bringing down their guttering!
I am praying the schools will be closed tomorrow! I tried walking to school today to see how long it took and my 5 year old ended up so cold and miserable before we got even a third of the way there. My car is totally surrounded by about a foot and a half of snow so that would take alot of digging…. please please please be closed!!
Just been out for a walk in the woods and the untouched snow came up to Daves knees and he is 6ft2 (I chickened out and stayed on the squished down bits!)
So far the schools have stayed open but there is loads more forecast tonight so monday might be different
