Well Chicken I suppose they were a 60s boyband -but they did produce some of the best pop music you might have heard depending on your date of birth of course-you could be a baby boomer or into the 70s or the 80s I dunno but people still want to listen and talk about them all these years on overrated or not
I like a pint of Heavy and something called stovies as I recall but Rabbie(got it right this time)-most Scottish people are more familiar with the poetry of The Bay City Rollers lol -you know its only me having a bit of fun Esme dont you???-you can take all out on me if you want to -work tomorrow
Calm down Quasi some of my best friends are Jocks I had a great holiday in Aberdeen a couple of years ago-I like Scottish people they are great fun like a drink and recognise Mr Burns mostly as that funny geezer out of The Simpsons!!!!!
I know nothing much about Robbie Burns I admit and not much more about Deacon Bue but a mate of mine from Glasgow reckons Ricky Ross is a better poet-hes a real gone kid lol
How strange is that reply- I would have thought there was enough room for a couple of threads-some might not worship at the altar and have a some opinions that go against the grain-I’m a huge fan but even I realise that Ringo was not even the best drummer in The Beatles-bless him
Heres a song for my wife Stephanie who sometimes looks in on these things -shes not been to well lately…..
all the other girls here are stars—you are the Northern Lights
they try to shine in through your curtains—you’re too close and too bright
they try and they try but everything that they do
is the ghost of a trace of a pale imitation of you……
Thats a song by Josh Ritter called Kathleen but that really doesnt matter too much!!
