Your logic is flawed, because the name of her band has no relevance to the level of her indignation, and nor does her grandfather’s background. The whole incident is purely about how crass and tasteless Russel Brand was, phoning Andrew Sachs and leaving obscene messages on his answerphone.

Slayer what the hell does it matter what she has done or what her band is called? She can be outraged by what Russell Brand said on an answerphone to her grandfather if she pleases. In my opinion she doesn’t need to justify her indignation.

It was the way he did it that was crass. And no gentleman would behave as he has done, regardless of the reputation of the woman in question. But regardless of all that, if it had been remotel funny, he might he been forgiven. After all, he could have been spinning a yarn.
