Thanks rubes… daughter in hospital last night in Budapest. She is very poorly, but they have let continue her journey. Not even sure what it was but think asthma brought on by a chest infection. Language barrier was pretty hard to negotiate through. I hope to god she is on the mend now as she doesn’t fly back until Friday. What a way to raise money!
I hated it that teachers could use the cane or the belt when I was at school. We treated it as normal back then, but it really is a bad thing to hurt a child to get obedience. I wouldn’t call someone who used one when they are so much bigger and in a position of authority, lovely.
You on the otherhand rubes, ARE. For instance, I can never imagine you deliberately hurting anyone, let alone a wee child.
