The fact remains that Facebook, by its very nature, encourages people to add people as friends, when they actually do not know them. They are then given access to information they would not normally know.
Facebook has been in the public eye for putting a middle aged man into contact with people who then abused children in their care and sent him images. It is not just one isolated incident. There is nothing friendly about this and I was not joking when I said it was the work of the devil. Even the most innocent seeming applications within Facebook collect information on everyone who uses them. It is Big Brother.
It has become too large and unweildy and open to corruption. If you want to use it at all, restrict the people on it to people you REALLY know. And even that has the potential for harm.

What I don’t like about Facebook is the fact that some people think that their every move is interesting enough to be posted on their wall for everyone to read. And on the other hand….It’s not just being normally nosey wanting to read what time someone went to bed or what they are thinking right now, it is plain weird.
Whatever happened to keeping something back to maintain a bit of mystery? It is now a question of familiarty breeding contempt.

You can observe all this yet you cannot give us the source of this information. Do you speak to them all to distinguish their English literary ability; can you explain how you know they pay not a thing? NI contributions for a finite period of time? How on earth do you know this to be factual?

They get in through the back door using the loopholes you mention. And although I don’t begrudge someone life saving operations, I do wonder how on earth they can qualify for NHS treatment.

And…..making use of the system is all well and good for those that have the mental agility and knowledge to do so, but it does mean that the systems are stretched too tightly and those that are less able to manipulate the systems are abandoned.

You mean the people that take time to discover their “ rights “ and those who do not, and those less fortunate that the authorities wouldn’t dream of educating them their “ rights “to what they are truly entitled. For instance, try if you will and discover the amount of unclaimed benefits in this country where the authorities are aware of the person’s right to claim but remain silent.
As for wasting your time, it seems you have plenty to waste – careful that you don’t look back one day and wonder where it all went, what it was all for.
On the contrary, debunking scaremongering non-sense is no waste at all, in fact every second counts. I am well aware of the mechanics of time. Unlike some i could mention.

It is not based on a newspaper headline, it is what I have observed personally. And, I don’t know how it can happen…..but it does, and as I stated, I do not know how they qualify.
