The Bible and the Koran are both written by men. They are therefore by that very fact both flawed.
Added to that the fact that both involve the Angel Gabriel, who first appeared to Mary and told her she was going to have the son of God, and to Mohammed who the Angel visited regularly for a pretty long period of time and gave him some rules for mankind to live by which Muhammed memorised and told his friends and followers, and then THEY wrote it down, probably after he died (forming the Quran). And we know that the bible was written by disciples of Jesus ages after he pegged it. Well… I reckon the Angel Gabriel was a meddling busy body with a warped sense of humour and the cause of every single religious war that has ever happened!
So, if either book tells people to do anything at all, people should use their own common sense and work out whether this was one of the Angel Gabriel’s little sick jokes, or whether it really is a good idea!

That means that everyone has the right to free speech, the right to protest and demostrate and the right to follow their own religions. That is why i want to know what the rules for having a peaceful demonstration are. Because something in those rules is biased.
They were so bad they will probably stay in! They cannot sing a note though, and the coreography was out of their capabilities too. Its like tin tin on acid watching them!
Jamie was brilliant… can’t stand Danyl, he is psychotic, and i love Lloyd and the song was just too high for him he lost strength in the higher registers. He did a good job though. Didn’t rate any of the others much, and poor Stacey, that song was not her and she looked dreadful in that frock, and so did the Welsh girl! In fact the wardrobe department need sacking!
That caused a stink when it happened tictax, I remember. I wonder what the criteria are for allowing demonstrations these days?
By the way, I uphold the right to protest in public… demonstrations are part of our democratic society, so its ironic that islamic extremists want to use such a well known democratic process to air their views, particularly as they are demonstratiing against our democracy!

They are extremists… …… but actually 40 lashes for druken disorderly behavior, and stoning for adulterers, the latter would go down quite well with a fair few people I expect!

SMOKING IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH
it costs the country billions every year treating people with smoking related disease.. though I think obesity has overtaken smoking……….shoot me if i have that wrong.
Anyway……………i used to smoke, not heavily but i smoked… i gave up, and it pretty nearly killed me. It is an insiduous little drug and the brain loves nicotine.
I read in the papers today about a 3 year old child who was given cigarettes and was smoking them like a 60 year old, chain smoking! The guy responsible is in prison now. Quite rightly. Cigarettes are toxic.
We should all stop smoking. And one very good reason is………………..there are people outside hospital doors smoking any day of the week. I have seen people with amputated limbs in wheelchairs smoking themselves hoarse. And yes.. the smoking contributed to their current situations. But they cannot stop.

this was practically the first ever track i heard morrissey sing that spoke to me…….it seems a very very long time ago now, with a lot of water under a lot of bridges, but it still rings a chord or two.
