i do love it when people have just learnt a new word and use it all the time. :D
They sound like nasty little oiks………….whatever happened to polite, decent honest folks? I agree with eve and PB…. the delivery man is just that, paid to deliver the food. They were extracting the michael. I think that calling the police in was a bit over the top, but if i were the delivery man, and getting verbal abuse and could not get the money I was owed out of said nasty louts.. i would probably have been tempted to get the boys in blue in too.

My lie was number 2. My sister got through to the semi finals of the competition, but didn’t actually win it.

I read today that he was in an unusual prayer like position when he was found.
What the hell can someone be doing in a prayer like pose, and then die from doing whatever it was?
Presumably, he was kneeling on the floor, with his hands close together as if cupping something.
How very odd.
Perhaps it is wrong for societies to have scape goats. But, in this instance, I do not believe that she is a scape goat. I seriously think that many of the errors of judgment and mistakes that led to children being left in dangerous situations was down to her running of the the department. And…. if this court case is anything to go by, I am not alone in thinking that.
The law may be an ass, but sometimes the ass is facing in the right direction.
