I also told someone that I thought it would all be OK for them, and then their girlfriend left.

It’s starting to look really bad.

I of course started the Second World War. I wasn’t alive at the time but I read lots of books about it.

I can’t claim lack of knowledge if the Police come round. I never met Hitler but I know all about him. There you are. Proved.

I’m thinking of giving myself up to the tabloids, blacklisting myself and making sure I can’t access my pension when I retire, just to make sure I’m in no doubt about my guilt.

Terry, why don’t you join UKIP and stand for Parliament or your local council?

Go for it man. Every party needs good people to stop the nutters taking control.

Pictured outside Downing Street today are two politicians.

One is our leader who makes tough decisions on behalf of the UK and its inhabitants.

The other fella is David Cameron.

    Genuinely funny.

The guy is European Council President Herman Van Rompuy, except he’s not really making any tough decisions – he’s going round Europe seeking compromise on the budget. He’s likely to urge restraint in spending, much to the liking of David Cameron (and Terry!).

I should point out, kids, that the cigarette reference was just for comic effect. As a ex-smoker, I don’t condone the use of cigarettes unless you are an adult and you know what you are doing.

is there enough time to debate this in the house of commons to actually stop it going ahead this year if they vote against culling?……….the bbc link says the cull was due to start ‘in a few days’…..that article was online on the 14th?

It hasn’t started yet. There will be the vote this Thursday and it may be halted due to rising costs:

I got an automated reply from my MP – wonder if she’ll reply in person? :-k

I did get a reply through the post and on House of Commons letterhead! With a personalised salutation as well!

Ok, so the signature was photocopied…

Anyhow, she is against the cull and will be attending the vote today.

An MP responding to your interests – you certainly can’t complain.

We won’t have anything to be ashamed of…..I love a challenge and I am very competitive…however all that aside I am going to check out the hot totty

How does that song go? “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”

Except of course a stroke or a broken ankle………

I only referred to the potential shame of having to stop exhausted while you are being beasted by an ex-army PT. I hope you keep going for long enough for the hot totty to notice you too.

    I’m sure you’ll know when to stop ! ?

I hate the lazy bastards who think that, because they paid something in, they should get something out. Pay tax, pay into a pension, expect a retirement. Jeeeez!

Forget something for something. Forget something for nothing. It’s about time we realised it’s a nothing for something world out there.

Make your payments – take the shit. And while you’re at it – shut up.

Right now, I’m so proud to be British. We were all together and happy about the Olympics and what we could do if we really tried. Now look at us.

    No public figure is safe.

Some people on JC met Savile! Investigate them, sack them from their jobs and stop their pensions.

The guy was a very intelligent scumbag from all accounts. But with every new sensation we are just watching a car crash. The media squeals with delight at any salacious details and any shame or ignominy that can be heaped on anyone associated with Savile. And the scandal happy public lap it up and call for more revenge.

It’s not about the victims any more. It’s not about doing the right thing.

It’s about raking over a rotting corpse and cheering as the sinking ship takes other people down.

    Who are the necrophiliacs now?
