The X in X-ray is pronounced ex and the X in fox is pronounced cs – tell me about it, it’s taken me 2 term’s to get my head round it :lol:

I think kids get far too much homework these days, to be honest I’m dreading that stage when they bring home allegbra !!! I haven’t a clue either !!

My 4 year old is learning her “phonics” at the moment, and only has 2 letters to get before she gets her badge. One of the letters is X so we have been practising saying X as in X-ray, then the teacher told me this is wrong, its should be pronounced “cs” as in fox (cs) – FFS ! I can’t even get this right LOL

Today I wish……….. that I on Tuesday I hadn’t shut 3 of my fingers in my sliding car door, the painkillers Im taking are making me dizzy, and my kids have drawn silly pictures on my sling…..

At least it was my left hand , I suppose it could have been worse…….
