Do you have to have the last word in a disagreement or arguement or are you happy to let the otherside have it?
I used to have to have the last word but these days I can’t be bothered. I’m quite happy to let the other side have it.
Oh yeah?!!!!
Are we starting from the beginning again?

Well, I was in London yesterday, first time in ages. My son lives in – it’s true – Stratford.
We went by train because we were advised to steer clear of the roads
That city is not good. A lot of the character has gone from the days I lived there – parts looked like a le Corbusier fantasy. The skyline is horrible. The Shard gave me the frighteners as I got out of the tube and was told by my son to look up to the top of ‘that building’. I kept wondering if a SAM missile might fire at me if the sun caught the glint of my specs the wrong way.

My son is wonderful, by the way, as I’m sure most of your children are wonderful. He gladdened my heart amidst the seething mass of rushing traffic and multiple types of character in the faces you see.
What a mix of emotions scep… feet up today nurse that blister and enjoy the sunshine :D

It was a polite way of excusing myself from chat.
Besides I’m taking your advice and reading these boards to cure my insomnia. :P
Lousy advice though, Telboy cos it ain’t working!
Maybe we should all post some photos here to brighten the place up a bit… we could claim we took them and accept the accolades 8) ….. might be exciting?…..wait… hmmm… might just be sad :? …. just a thought :D
