Actually thin… you could say the same about obesity… our hospitals are full of people with obesity related illnesses,,, you could say their illnesses are self inflicted so why should the tax payer pick up the bill? Maybe we should tax people for eating fatty foods or ban fatty foods?
The thing is where does it end? Is a person who participates in a risky sports activity entitled to have treatment on the NHS if the injure themselves playing their sport? Should they pay extra tax because they participate or should we ban the sport?
Maybe we should all just take out private health insurance and be done with it :?
