For the avoidance of doubt, I don’t use Facebook – boring people to death on here is quite enough.

I thought I would share this with you….. there are still nice people around.

Yesterday I decided to get the pressurised water blaster thingy out and clean some paths around the house to remove mud and moss etc. Anyway I got it all out and set it up only to find the blaster bit wasn’t working ( you know the bit with the trigger)

Off I went to B&Q to buy a new blaster bit, I searched the shelves and could not find one… anyway a guy who worked there asked me what I was looking for, turns out the make I had does not make replacements and you have to buy a whole new blaster… Grrrr.

The guy was very sweet though, he said look I finish my shift in 5 minutes I have one in my garage you can have! I followed him in his car and sure enough he presented me with exact thing I needed. I was so pleased… he refused money for it too…. I will sneak back though and leave a nice bottle of wine on his step… I was so pleased, such kindness, some people are really nice!

I know people will look at this and think I’m boring… well tough… I like being boring!

    :P :P :P

If anyone out there has experience with dealing with young people with substance abuse, could you please pm me? I’m trying to support a friend in this and I’m kinda out of my depth :?

My best advice is this site Jen.. I was involved with it some years ago (in a different life). I have never dealt with users though so I cannot give advice

It was funny, hence my reply – I was continuing the tongue-in-cheek vein – or trying to – sorry if it was miscontrued, didn’t mean to upset you at all, far from it x

Hi Anc… not upset truly…. I looked at it again and thought…. nah :D
