Ha! all is not lost Tinks. I remember being told that Santa is magic and can get through the smallest spaces, even keyholes! I told my daughter this and scared her rigid, so much so she stuffed all the keyholes with playdough before she went to bed with a note to tell Santa to leave her presents in the porch….. so funny!

What to do, what to do. The pressure’s building. I’m not the sort of bloke to leave a starving starling short of it’s late autumn nuts. You can tell this by the way I walk. So far so good. But now I fancy a munch of some tasty seeds for some strange reason. Dammit I’ll never keep this up. Best to own up to something I never actually did if I want a quiet life. Probably not a good time to mention that cardboard box I accidentally left on top of the wheelie bin.
I’m going out now to put signs up on all the local lamp posts. ‘ Have you seen this bird bath ?. . . . . please ring . . etc etc’.
I’ll add . . . . ‘Answers to the name of Tiddles’ to ensure it gets peoples attention.

you read what you want to read yet again! i stated quite clearly that they were out of order as you can see, and i stand by that the racial slurs were out of order. But i dont want to argue over that one thread its over and done with apparently and i was talking about the general feel of the posts and boards as a whole not just that one.
Well poli, what you are actually achieving, is exactly what you are complaining about. Besides which, you were not here, you have not read through all the posts and you did not have to deal with the abuse.
I see the point you are making but I think you could have used a better platform from which to make it

I suggest you read what was said poli, you admit you have not read it all yet you condemn cosy for not reading your post fully (which he says he has btw) People came here from another site with the intention of causing trouble and being abusive and there were repercussions… its over… the end.

I havent read all of what has been going on but suffice to say 80% of it is not good reading. The pat chats thing is pathetic, i post on both forums and i have to say i was disappointed with a couple of comments from some on both sides, there was a degree of racial slurs from one or two, and that isnt what sunny was getting at btw, and although not acceptable the “you cant be racist bandwagon was well and truly jumped upon just … cos u can i guess. Then there is the royal wedding slurs, are people honestly that jealous of them, that they feel the need to judge them as an institution they dont agree with, rather than the human side that two people who have known each other and fallen in love and wish to seal this, as caths post originally intended? but no!! someone always has to get there oar in, as for the diana jokes, tasteless!, that man who some call a tw@t with out actually knowing them as a person just assume they are a tw@t because of their standing.. is no different in my opinion than judging someone by the colour of their skin.
On the positive side i’m glad some people came out and said what is the truth rather than what they chose to read depending on who made the post, that said im sure there is / was a degree of history in the replies but some where honest, even if it did or didnt play into their hands. Kent has posted this same post on another forum with no bother at all, so maybe sunny took it wrong and chocolat used it as a get back from a previous rant on pats, all as bad as each other in my opinion.
Thin i think you revel in stirring the shyte, some people take it and understand you others don’t and take it more to heart, neither is wrong it just points out how different we all are as individuals with different levels of tolerance and differing humour.
Ok i know people will pick holes in this and call me whatever they wanna call me, you are all entitled to your opinion as i am mine, but in all seriousness cant we learn to just get along better… after all we are all human beings even if we dont always act any better than an ape. banter and humour a degree of discussion, debate, cheeky humour is fine but this blatant handbag fighting between both sexes thats been going on really has reached a point where its tedious, nasty and dam well unecessary.Apologies for the long post.
