Quran (18:65-81) This is the Sura and verses that lays the foundation for honor killings for just the thought that a child would commit disobedience and ingratitude. It goes even further in sitating that you might even be given a better “son” than the one you had before by Allah.
I’ll admit I googled it… but in the book I quoted earlier it quotes these verses as justification.
Rhetoric… it always reminds me of Care in the Community…. a fancy slogan for cutting services.
Cameras were supposed to be a deterrent… they were supposed to educate us all to understand speed … to take notice and slow down. Whats the point of hiding them to catch people? as anc said the only people they catch going fast is people who don’t know they are there……. if they did know they were there they would be going slower.
When you say it like that jen it seems reasonable …. but I still feel its blatant cashing in…… maybe Im out of step dunno….I wont buy it though… for sure.
Im always amazed how big foxes are…. and the noises they make at night scary :shock:

No idea if she has talent…. but I do agree she should not exploit her royal links….. seems to me they just thought… I know we will publish a book…… i bet very little of it is her own work if it was and she had worked hard to writing it I might think differently…. i don’t think that’s the case though… Im a royalist but I don’t agree with this type of cashing in on their celebrity they should be above that.
Terrible story…. not only because of an innocent young girls barbaric murder, but also that the parents are so indoctrinated by religion… the really terrible thing too is that some extreme misguided Muslim parents even in this country will agree the girl deserved it.
Recently I read A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini its heartbreaking what some young women have to endure. Read it if you can…. its so enlightening.
